[Post-operative care instructions for breast augmentation with jelly]
- You can shower normally after the surgery. Dry the wound with a towel to keep it clean and dry. You will have a follow-up appointment to remove the stitches in about 6 to 7 days. Three days after the stitches are removed, you can start applying scar removal gel.
- Swelling or bruising in the chest after surgery is normal and usually subsides within 2 to 4 weeks. If there is any abnormal pain or swelling that does not subside, or if there is abnormal discharge, please make an appointment for a follow-up examination.
- For one to two months after the surgery, please do not wear bras with push-up or support functions, or bras with padding or underwire. In the third month, you can switch to soft underwire bras to maintain your breast shape.
- Please return for your scheduled follow-up appointments after the surgery. Your doctor will assess your progress and may arrange for breast massage. Regular follow-up appointments are also recommended.
- The first six months after surgery are a critical period for recovery. It is recommended to have follow-up visits and breast massages on the first day, one week, two weeks, one month, two months, three months, and six months after surgery, and regular follow-up visits after one year.
- Regarding activities, participants are encouraged to return to their daily lives and work, but please refrain from lifting heavy objects or carrying children.
- In terms of diet, you need to finish the preventive antibiotics we provide after the surgery. You can also eat normally after the surgery, but avoid staying up late and smoking, because an irregular lifestyle will lower your immunity, reduce your body's recovery ability, and affect wound healing.
