Postoperative precautions
There may be some tissue fluid and blood seepage from the liposuction area for the first three days after the procedure. The gauze needs to be changed when it becomes wet. It is recommended to wear compression garments for 2-4 weeks after surgery to help the skin tissue recover to a smoother state.
The liposuction area will feel quite swollen after the procedure. It is recommended to place a pillow under your calves before going to bed to elevate your lower limbs and promote blood flow. You may experience numbness in the liposuction area, which will recover within one to three months.
