Symptoms and needs
Large pores
Large pores are a common skin concern. Besides excessive sebum production, they are also caused by a buildup of dead skin cells, insufficient skin hydration, collagen loss, and decreased skin elasticity. When the support around the pores weakens, or when oil and dirt accumulate over time, the pores become more noticeable, especially on areas like the nose and cheeks, where they tend to appear rough and uneven. Large pores not only make the skin look less refined, but they can also lead to problems like makeup creasing, powder settling into fine lines, or an uneven finish when applying makeup. Therefore, they are a common concern for many people seeking skin management and cosmetic treatments.
