Post-operative care for breast augmentation with autologous fat transfer

[Post-operative care/precautions for autologous fat transfer breast augmentation]

  1. Do not rub the wound vigorously when showering within a week after the surgery, and keep the wound dry after showering.
  2. During the first week after surgery, the breasts will feel swollen and bruised, which will subside within about two weeks. If there is any abnormal pain, redness, or abnormal discharge from the wound, please return to the clinic for examination as soon as possible.
  3. For one to two months after the surgery, please do not wear bras with push-up or support functions, or bras with padding or underwire. In the third month, you can switch to soft underwire bras to maintain your breast shape.
  4. Do not soak in hot springs, hydrotherapy or spas, or engage in strenuous exercise within two months after the surgery.
  5. Avoid eating spicy or irritating foods and staying up late.
  6. Do not smoke for three months, as smoking will cause poor blood circulation, which in turn will affect the survival rate of fat cells.
  7. Please maintain a normal diet for the first three months after surgery. Do not diet to lose weight, as this may affect the survival rate of fat cells.
