Is a facelift surgery high-risk?

Many people have a dangerous impression of facelift surgery, mostly because traditional facelifts involve long incisions, making postoperative wound care more difficult, causing more noticeable swelling, a longer recovery period, and resulting in long and prominent scars. However, facial surgery has advanced significantly in recent years, becoming more precise and minimally invasive. Will a facelift always leave a scar?
