Anesthesia safety

Under normal medical practice, the surgical anesthesia methods commonly heard in Taiwanese cosmetic clinics are general anesthesia (endotracheal tube general anesthesia) and sedation anesthesia (intravenous anesthesia).

The procedure involves intravenous anesthesia, which is administered without endotracheal intubation. The anesthetic drugs are delivered via intravenous drip to maintain the patient's spontaneous breathing during the surgery.

 Endotracheal tube general anesthesia:

After administering anesthetic drugs intravenously and the patient falls asleep, endotracheal intubation is performed. During the operation, the endotracheal tube is used to protect the patient's airway and maintain unobstructed breathing. The surgery is performed while the patient is kept breathing by an anesthesia machine. The endotracheal tube placed in the larynx is removed after the operation is completed and before the patient regains consciousness.
