Post-facelift care instructions
1. The wound may be bandaged after the facelift. Please return for a follow-up appointment on the 2nd-3rd day after the procedure to change the dressing. For endoscopic facelift, simply keep the wound clean and dry.
2. There will be swelling and tightness at the facelift site. Please apply ice for the first week after the operation (15-20 minutes each time). Bruising is normal and will disappear naturally in two to three weeks after the operation.
3. Post-operative symptoms may include sore throat and cough. It is recommended to drink more cold foods and drinks, which should improve within about a week.
4. Those who have undergone a forehead lift may experience numbness or irritation in the forehead and scalp. This is normal and usually resolves within about six months.
5. Hair around the wound may temporarily decrease and will grow back naturally after a few weeks or months. Permanent hair loss is rare.
